Tetany Minerals & nervous system

Tetany

Balance that brings relief

Tetany is a syndrome characterised by increased excitability of the central and peripheral nervous system, arising from changes in mineral concentrations in the extracellular fluid. The condition predominantly affects the younger age group of the population. It typically manifests after prolonged stress, depression, and emotional tension. The infusion provides a complex of minerals with added magnesium and therefore has a positive effect on heart function.

Chromium

A trace element important for regulating normal blood sugar levels, proper heart function and metabolism.

Manganese

An essential trace element that is part of several enzymes (such as superoxide dismutase, which is key to removing free radicals from cells), therefore essential for proper metabolic function, preventing cell aging and supporting the immune system.

Iron

Is part of many metabolic processes, including oxygen transport (a key component of haemoglobin in red blood cells). Its deficiency can manifest as (iron-deficiency) anaemia, impaired function of several enzymes important for metabolism and protecting cells from free radicals.

Zinc

An essential mineral that significantly contributes to proper immune system function, helps maintain healthy nails, skin and hair. It also neutralises the harmful effects of alcohol and contributes to proper brain and vision function.

Fluoride

A key element in tooth development, for maintaining the strength and hardness of teeth and tooth enamel, including its strong effect on eliminating bacteria in the oral cavity. It helps improve bone density and hardness, making them stronger and more stable.

Iodine

Has an irreplaceable function. It is essential for the production of thyroid hormones, which influence growth, normal nervous system function, and are involved in regulating body weight and the immune system.

Molybdenum

An essential trace element that acts as a cofactor for several enzymes (especially oxidases). Its deficiency leads to nervous system disorders and impaired protection of cells against DNA damage.

Selenium

An important mineral that significantly boosts the immune system. It has a proven antiviral effect as well as anti-tumor properties. It significantly improves brain function, contributes to the prevention of various lifestyle diseases as well as cardiovascular diseases. It forms an important part of antioxidant enzymes (preventing premature cell aging) and is also used to support fertility and maintain healthy nails and hair.
